An exterior cleanout is an entry port to the main sewer line that allows easier access for drain cleaning/camera use. If the cleanout isn’t present, we’re able to install one which saves money in the long run for future drain cleaning. Without a cleanout, we have to take large drain machines inside and pull the toilet in order to access the main sewer line. With a cleanout, we can more easily clean the line from outside without risk to the interior of the home.
